Pathway Impact is redefining experiential learning in a new and exciting way. Join an exciting learning adventure by taking an extraordinary, non-traditional trip to Uganda, the pearl of Africa. While Uganda isn’t found at the top of most travel abroad wish lists, it presents the perfect destination for global learning opportunities in East Africa. Join us for a worthwhile and life-changing adventure and thrill.
We are glad to run our programs for the young (and young at heart) in a welcoming and diverse country. There is always something going on in the sprawling cities of Uganda or the under-resourced rural areas. Come ready to connect with the ever-happy Ugandans, mull over the legacy of British rule, breakdown stereotypes and to discover what Uganda has to offer. We can arrange an exclusively Ugandan trip or regional learning trip that includes different East African states.

Pathway Impact follows the Standards of Good Practice and Quality Assurance developed by The Forum on Education Abroad, a USA-based organization that develops comprehensive standards of good practice for global learning experiences (education abroad). All of our intern and study abroad programs have a special focus on safety, health, and well-being. These standards ensure that we consistently provide high-quality, safe, and meaningful education abroad experiences.
At Pathway Impact, we take health and safety concerns very seriously. Every program participant must carry comprehensive insurance cover and also attend our health and safety orientation session designed to prevent, manage and respond to incidents if they occur. We ensure that students enjoy a great sense of security in order to maximize their experience and travel abroad. We follow health and safety guidelines that are encouraged by industry leaders such as ATTA, NAFSA and The Forum on Education Abroad.
Signing Up
Every program requires a completed ”custom request” form and may involve an interview before a program contract is completed. Study Abroad enrollment is mainly coordinated directly with the prospective institution.
Finances
Each program is invoiced based on its unique requirements. Program fees sustain our operational activities and ensure a comfortable and safe experience during your stay. Ask about our payment plans.
Scheduling
We try as much as we can to accommodate program dates that work best for you. Every program’s duration has its own logistical and financial requirements which impact the overall budget of a program.
Activities
Every program is designed to maximize your experience and time abroad. We handle all on-ground logistics, program coordination, cultural activities, engagements, exciting excursions and airport pick up and drop offs.
Well-being
We have in place a resident physician, a comprehensive health and safety guide and an emergency support system to respond to incidents that require immediate action. Students are never without supervision.
Comfortable Living, Good Food
Students are encouraged to try native foods to authenticate their experience abroad – we provide three sumptuous meals a day. Our family-friendly accommodation is a comfortable and relaxing haven.
